Laura Teodori is the Director of Research at ENEA, the Italian National Agency for New Technology, Energy and Sustainable Economy, in the Diagnostics and Metrology Laboratory, Division of Physics for Health Science. She also teaches Applied Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. She coordinated the project “SMARTIES” smart scaffolds for skeletal muscle regeneration, funded by Regione Lazio-Italy. The main topics of her research are regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and biomaterials. She co- chairs the Indo-Italian Forum on Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering.

Since 2014, he is the head of one of the 9 research laboratories of the Institute of Molecular and Material Chemistry of Orsay (ICMMO): the laboratory of Synthesis of Bioactive Molecules and Macromolecules (SM2B). Prof. Roger joined University Paris Sud and ICMMO in 2000.Since 2012, Prof. Roger has also been involved in the administration of University Paris Sud as Vice-President of the Research of the Chemistry Department.

His research interests include design and characterization of polymers and composites for medical applications and tissue engineering, structural properties of natural tissue, properties and processing of nanostructures, hydrogels and biodegradable polymers.
Prof. Kurt E Geckeler is the Head of Laboratory of Applied Macromolecular Chemistry at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea. He is the Editor-in-chief of several international journals of repute. His research are includes designing and development of supramolecular drugs and polymer, nanomaterials and carbon and inorganic nanotubes.
Prof. Atsushi Suzuki is a faculty of Environment and Information Sciences, Division of Artificial Environment and Information. His research area includes phase transition in constrained polymer gels, light induced phase transition in polymer gels, surface structure of polymer gels and its functions, water flow in hydrogels, adhesion properties of swollen hydrogels.
Prof. Jöns Hilborn is the Head of Polymer Chemistry program at Uppsala University. He had been associated with industrial research at IBM, US. and a few other companies as well. He had also been a faculty member of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland. Currently, Prof. Hilborn is working in the field of development of new polymeric materials as scaffolds for tissue engineering.
Prof. Ashok Misra is currently the Chairman of Intellectual Ventures India, Bangalore, a position he took over in October 2008. Prior to this he was the Director of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, from 2000 to 2008.
