- Award is open to the people who have been involved in polymer related research activities
- Award is conferred to the person of immense academic and scientific achievements in the field of polymer science & technology. The person should have international recognition in the polymer related domains
- Award is given to the people from industry/ academic organization/ research institute/ management units
- Person for the award should have nomination at least from one of the APA Executive Committee (EC) member

- Award is conferred to anyone from any places across the World
- Award is given to the people from industry/ academic organization/ research institute/ management centre
- Award is given to the people irrespective of the age/ gender and affiliation
- The major consideration of the award will be to the person of immense academic and scientific contribution in popularizing the science towards the benefit of the mankind and to the society
- Person for the award should have nomination from at least from one of the APA Executive Committee (EC) members

- Award is conferred to anyone from any places across the World
- Award is open to the people who have been involved in polymer related research activities
- Award is conferred to the person who has made OUTSTANDING contribution to APA and its activities in the at the national and international levels
- Award is given to the people from industry/ academic organization/ research institute/ management units
- Person for the award should have nomination at least from one of the APA Executive Committee (EC) member

APA Young Researcher Award 2026
Criteria for the award
- APA Young Researcher Award is open to any person from any place across the world who has been involved in polymer related research activities.
- Persons irrespective of their gender and affiliation are eligible to apply for this award.
- Award is restricted to the people up to the age group of 35 on 31st March 2026
- Contribution to APA activities will add to the selection
- Award would be given to the persons from industry/ academic organization/ research institutes

APA Young Scientist Award 2026
Criteria for the award
- APA Young Scientist Award is open to any person from any place across the world who has been involved in polymer related research activities.
- Persons irrespective of their gender and affiliation are eligible to apply for this award.
- Award is restricted to the people up to the age of 42 years on or before 31st March 2026
- Significant contribution to APA will be an added feature towards the selection
- Award would be given to the persons from industry/ academic organization/ research institutes

- Industry Innovation Award
Purpose:
To acknowledge groundbreaking products, technologies, or processes that redefine industry standards. This award recognises bold ideas that move markets forward, solve deeply rooted challenges, and demonstrate transformative real-world outcomes.
Requirements:- Recent Implementation: Must have been launched, commercialised, or deployed within the last 12 months.
- Proven Impact: Demonstrates measurable advancement in efficiency, quality, performance, patient outcomes, cost reduction, or sustainability.
- Innovation Narrative: Clear articulation of the innovation journey — concept, development, deployment, and unique value proposition.
- Evidence Portfolio: Supporting real-world data, validated outcomes, testimonials, benchmarking, user adoption metrics, or case studies.
- Scalability Potential: Demonstrates capacity for market expansion or cross-sector relevance.
- Sustainability & Environmental Impact Award
Purpose:
To recognise exceptional initiatives that champion environmental stewardship, climate-positive action, and sustainable transformation. This award honours organisations that go beyond compliance to deliver measurable, long-term ecological benefit.
Requirements:- Quantifiable Impact: Demonstrated reductions in carbon footprint, waste generation, water usage, chemical dependency, or energy consumption.
- Circular Thinking: Integration of circular economy principles, renewable materials, green technologies, or resource-efficient design.
- Long-Horizon Commitment: Clear sustainability roadmap with trackable milestones and long-term ecological outcomes.
- Independent Validation: LCA reports, third-party certification, compliance audits, or academic/industry validation preferred.
- Community & Sector Influence: Evidence that the initiative inspires broader adoption or benefits the wider ecosystem.
- Industry Leadership Award
Purpose:
To honour visionary leaders who have made outstanding, enduring contributions to their field through strategic leadership, innovation, mentorship, and organizational influence. This award recognizes individuals who elevate industry standards, inspire teams, and spearhead transformative change across sectors such as manufacturing, health sciences, technology, and finance.
Requirements:- Distinguished Tenure: Minimum of 5–10 years of exemplary performance in the field, with sustained leadership excellence.
- Transformational Impact: Proven record of leading high-impact projects, instituting strategic reforms, scaling innovations, or driving organizational growth.
- Thought Leadership: Evidence of mentorship, keynote speaking, publications, committee leadership, advocacy, or shaping industry discourse.
- Peer Recognition: Strong endorsement through peer nomination, institutional recommendation, or industry testimonials.
- Legacy & Influence: Demonstrated ability to inspire next-generation talent and shape the future trajectory of the industry.
